Upon arrival at Oslo Airport (OSL), military personnel from the organizing committee will be present at the baggage claim area to assist you. They will guide you through the customs process and ensure a smooth entry into Norway with your firearms and equipment.
Important:
To facilitate your entry into the country, the following documents must be fully completed, accurate, and submitted to the organizing committee in advance:
- Annex 2a – Final Entry: Composition of the Mission
- Annex 4 – Final Entry: Weapons Data
These documents are required both for logistical coordination and to comply with Norwegian regulations. Please ensure that all details—especially regarding weapon specifications and personal data—are correct and up to date.
For participants in the CISM World Military Shooting Championship, no special licenses or permits are required from police or customs authorities for bringing firearms into the country. However, the aforementioned annexes function as the formal notification and approval for transport and use of weapons during the championship.
