Over the past week, 80 athletes and team leaders from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland have gathered at Terningmoen for a pre-World Championship event ahead of the official competition starting in a few weeks.
«The purpose of this event has been to ensure all technical aspects at the shooting ranges are functioning properly,» says project officer Magna Almås. Feedback from the shooters has been very positive, and no serious faults or deficiencies were discovered before the World Championship kicks off in one month. Some additional work remains at the firing points before Elverum can welcome over 400 shooters to the championship in June.
